The deeper of the Max 540s, the 540-D is a fairly sizeable case but not so big you can’t carry it around. If you can’t be bothered to carry it around though, you can always just get one with wheels.

This a tough, waterproof hard case. Buying with cubed foam allows you to create a foam insert that will fit your gear perfectly. With the Max 540-D, you also have the option of buying with wheels and a retractable handle, making the case very easy to transport.
This lightweight case has three flexible carrying handles and four double-step safety latches. It also features an auto pressure release valve which will help to prevent vacuum-lock. The case is rated IP67 for water and dust protection.
